Mid-Week House Groups

Informal, friendly groups that meet in homes around the parish for bible study, discussion and prayer.
St Oswald's church encourages all to consider being part of a housegroup. Housegroups offer one of the best ways to deepen friendship and fellowship and to become part of the life of both the church and the community.
There are currently four house groups which meet in different parts of the parish, and on different days of the week, each with around 7-10 members on average. All the house groups offer a relaxed get-together and refreshments, along with a focus on bible study, prayer and fellowship. What is studied is usually determined by the groups themselves, but occasionally groups are encouraged to study the same course over a period such as Lent.
